The just spoiled it.

They just spoiled it, they just have done it.
You know what, since i was small, very very young and inmatured, we and apparently me, have been exposed to a well known, world popular, greatest anime of all time, DragonBall. I even watched it from the very first episode of of DragonBall up untill the last episode on DragonBall GT2. And still love it till now though it have long finish and i don think there is anymore new DragonBall anime out.

But some buggers from Hollywood decided to give a live to this well known anime through cinema, new movie named as DragonBall Evolution. WTF!!! The worst aint here yet as they totally kill the characters in that movie. Just see this picture for example.

Is the middle one suppose to be Goku? He look like some white guy from uptown. Stupid. Chow Yun Fatt become master Roshi, that still make sense but where is the Bold and Turtle Shell? And the perverted face of Master Roshi? I can't explain anymore but do see this trailer of this new movie. Then you tell me...

Go to this blog, http://dragonball-trailer.blogspot.com/ , and see by yourself. It's really stupid and disgracing for anime lovers.

Sarawak Adventure - 2

The idea for this adventure trip of mine all started off with the visitation that i have at Lau (one of FEB master student) place at Sematan, at the end of Sarawak. So was thinking, last 2004 i did venture Sarawak but mainly just pass by. So this time at 2008, after four years of solidatory in UNIMAS, i decided to do some different. From Sematan to Lawas. But i must at least stop by all the places along the highway.

It is a nice drive. The pictue below is the view from my car when i almost reach Miri. Nice highway beside the beach.

And the whole idea is to see the beaches all along the way to Lawas. As i like beach, expecially the sunset views and the nice smooth breeze along with the wave hitting on the sandy white beach. So far, the best beach i've been to is Sabah. So travel up tpo Miri and see if the beach there is as nice as Sabah one. That would be another post all together then. Ha ha...

And of that, it's all thanks to my loyal companion and wife, my kelise EZi 1.0. Oh, i love you my car... Mon Amie...

Anyway, the next post would be the beaches... yeah baby...

Sarawak Adventure - 1

The last month have really been an intense month for me. Not only pack will conference, seminars and wedding schedule, but also a lot of travelling. And i'm proud to say that i have successfully travel from one end of Sarawak to another end of Sarawak (Sematan till Lawas) and eventually half of Sabah (Sipitang till Kota Kinabalu). Not much people have done that and i'm proud to announce that Jeffrey have done that and have been there. Well, as promise, will blog on my journey and some interesting facts and locations as i bring you guys travel Sarawak, the land of the Head Hunter. Located in Borneo Island, in South China Sea.

Sarawak. The land of the head hunters. The land of the Hornbill. Well, personally i like to call it as "The Land of the Head Hunter". Cos' it symbolize Sarawak and the locals here.

The administrative capital of Sarawak is Kuching (the place where i was located now), .Other major towns also include Sibu, Miri, Bintulu, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Mukah, Betong, Limbang, Lawas and much more.It is rather interesting to note that Sarawak (similarly Sabah) is a multicultural state, with no ethnic majority. Meaning that it is quite equal. Unlike West Malaysia where one can see that in a lot of places/states there is some kind of majority ethnic and mostly were Malay. The majority of Sarawak's people are non-Muslim; there are over 30 ethnic (non-Malay) indigenous/natives groups in Sarawak.

Well me personally is also a mix, 1/3 Hakka (dad side), 1/3 Foochow (mom side) and 1/3 Iban (dad side). My dad a pure Chinese - Iban mix bloodline where my grandma a pure Iban. That's why i kinda look like a bit native (more handsome lar... ha ha...., na... just joking bout the handsome part). And such phenomenon is quite common in Sarawak where more and more Chinese and Malay and mixing with other races (natives). Though it have been going on for the past half century, it is now a common sight in the community.

Well, thats all for the introduction to Sarawak now. Next post will be my first trip on the 1st of December 2008. See ya.
