A Letter To Santa

Ho Ho Ho....

Dear Santa,
Hi there mate. Em... Never in my life i wrote any letter to you. Sometimes, i even doubt that you exist, except in the movies. Well, this will be my first time writting to you. I've been a naughty boy this year. Done that, been there... Well, i'm still feeling like doing more bad stuff coming next year. But but but, i will be good if you give me a present this year as i saw in the TV, when you gave presents to children. Well, i'm not a kid anymore but deep in my heart i'm still a 5 years old boy. Ha ha... or 50??? I don't know...

Well, what i want this year is "A Job".... Let me emphasize again.... "A Job". Not any job, but it is the job that suite me and is in my feild of interest. So again Santa. i want "A Job".... That have at least RM3 K and above. He he.... So will Santa give me? If u give me, i promise you and Christ that i will be good. Even no, i will also be good this year... Just another year end Resolution for coming 2009.

To those outside there, Merry belated Christmas and a happy 2009 new year.

Love,
Jeffrey

Second Trip - Miri

Well, actually i arrive at Miri three days ago but just manage to get online at my cousin house NOW.

So here is this. Been a great trip so far. Was driving myself down here last thursday using the new Coastal Highway road. I should say this, i'm actually quite impress with the road condition. Been staying in Sarawak for the last 24 years, yet this time that highway is quite good. Maybe part of it is new, so that's why. but i think that in the coming few years with the palm plantation going so rapidly with big trucks passing that road everyday, it soon gonna be like Serian - Sri Aman road. But at least i can enjoy the nice ride from Bintulu to Miri now right. Ha ha....

Still unable to post any pictures here now cos my cable left in Kuching. Sorry for that for the moment.

Anyway, after three darn days of exploring Miri city, i have manage to get to know most of the road. At least i can drive myself to some main places like home's, shopping malls, around the city inner part, beaches, and some main attraction places in Miri. Ha ha... from Luak to Pujut to Kuala baram. So how is it? Good? Ha ha.....

Ya ya... The one place that i love most in this city is the beaches. It's incredible. Well, not as good as Sabah one but it is nice. Have took like tons of the beaches photo. Most are sunsets. really nice. Will post it here as soon as i went back to Kuching later this month or next month.

The city is huge but not as huge as Kuching lar... Still Kuching the best though. Just that here we can see many Tycoon's BIG houses especially their Villa at High Hills facing the sea. And that is a lot here. Like SY Bosses, Samling Bosses and some other big shots in Sarawak Oil and Gas Industries, Plantation, Woods, Trading and etc... Too many here. All big big houses with at least three floors and large parking space that can accomodate at least twenty cars. So try to imagine that. And how many are there in Kuching? I don't think it is as many as in Miri. Damn....

Anyway tomorrow morning at seven will leave to KK. Will past Brunei so will try my best to take some real nice photos in Brunei especially Sultan Brunei Palace. And some nice scenery in Limbang and Lawas. Then i finish my second time travel from one end of Sarawak to another end of Sarawak. Ha ha...

So far so good. please do pray for my save journey come and fro from Kuching. So see you guys in KK then. Chao...

KFC - NOT - Kentucky Fried Chicken

This is a story long time ago. Just noticed it just now when having dinner with my Uncle and his family.

Ok, if everyone so loving going to KFC and eat the 'Chicken' there, well guess what... You are eating genetically modified chicken that barely have feathers or even some don't have any at all. Well, this is KFC strategy to boost up sales by cutting cost using genetically modified chicken that can be harvest in a shorter period considering buying and waiting for 'real chicken' that might cost more in long term.

So everyone like the crispy skin and the tender chicken meat well prepared as promise by our beloved Kolonel Sandlers. Well, guess what, you're eating genetically modified chicken, not the chicken that you and i personally know. Ew.... And they stop using Kentucky Fried Chicken name, instead use only KFC, cos they no more use chicken like the original recipe is all about. And why KFC is still called their chicken as chicken instead of genetically modified chicken.

Was wondering when KFC gonna genetically modified their chicken into two breast and four drumstick and wing. Ew... Or it already been done then. More ew.....then. Ew....

First trip - Bintulu

Well, am now in Bintulu but unable to upload all the photo that i have took for the first day. Been an exciting trip and now have almost master all the main road in Bintulu. When back in Kuching then i will upload the photos for public viewing.

Supposely have few meetings with some friends here. And thought that it could be rather long as what my friend told me. But seems like it is a short one where consensus were met fast and effective. Anyway, a rather nice chat with some old buddies from undergraduates years in UNIMAS.

Tomorrow will stay at my dear Uncle house somewhere nearby this parkcity as well. Well, would enjoy some precious time that i can spend with my cousin and relatives here. Been more than ten years i didn't actually have a holiday here at Bintulu. My last trip here was on 2004 where i just pass by Bintulu. But this time i drive so can plan and stay longer than before.

Here just some update on my trip venturing Borneo. Wish me luck and save journey.

Blog, blog, blog

Am really suprise and shock of the volume of bloggers traffic in Kuching Blogger. There are so many bloggers out there that make my blog seems like 'p<1.000' a.k.a not significant at all.

That is still alrite but it would seems rather odd to me that even kids as young as 12 years old nowadays already start blogging. Went to my little cousin blog and see some of her links. Well, all KIDS blog. Like Yen Ting, Alexander and etc. Make me look so old.

Not that to say that they are not good or stuff, but rather seems like they are more advanced than an old guy like me. And i'm not that old gua. only 24 lar... But still seems like old guy already when see these kids blog.

I remember during my 'younger' days, we only know of Nintendo, and at that time Playstation seems like an unaffordable stuff to us. We only have our 'kites' and 'brick game' to be say 'technological advanced' to us. Not to say Handphone as well cos we want have that expensive thing for us. Even rich kids don have it, not to say us anymore.

Well, the generations have change and all we have is our sweet memories of the old days back in school and playing in the muds with our buddies.

Anyway, I'm Cool~~

Snake

Saw a snake today in campus corridor on the way to FEB main office in old campus. Quite long, size of the body around my thumb and the length around one meter++. Ew...... I think the snake come out when all the students went back for holiday. No one will disturb it bah.
Well, our campus have a lot of wild animals and reptiles. Ha ha.. That would be a good attraction to people from outside, i think. Ha ha.....

Dabai

Saw some writing in a local newspaper today on a local fruit only found in Sarawak, particularly mainly in Sibu, Sarikei and Kapit area. It's called 'dabai' or 'Sibu olive' by some foreigners. but we locally normally called it as dabai.

It's a type of small fruit, olive look-a-like fruits, that have rich creamy and a bit sour taste in it. One can't cook it just like that. It was normally prepare in two ways. Soak it in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes till the fruit is a smooth and eatable or put in under heavy sun to make to dry and smoothen the fruit before consuming it. and normally we just dip it in some salt for flavoring.

Some local restaurant dry this fruits and preserve it. They normally used it to cook a local type of fried rice - 'Nasi Goreng Dabai'. Nice fried rice that i personally like a lot.

Sematan and Palm Beach

Went to Sematan Again few weeks ago. Well, these pictures been a while and now just remember to post it in this Blog.

They have one of the most beautiful beaches in Kuching Area. Well, at least a decent one and that's why it attract me to go back there for the beach. I love beach.

And the houses there were built next to the beach in the town. Well, a covered place. So the residents there have nice viewS in late afternoon > Sunsets. That i like.

And of course, resorts. For those who don wish to spend too much money on traveling but wanna have nice vacation + relaxation, 'Palm Beach Resort' would be a good recommendation for those beach lovers > like me.

It's a stoner dude. I love this place. Wont stop coming here.

Well i don know much about the advertising code in Malaysia yet. Well as a researcher i should have a copy of that code for references as one day i may need it for references. Ha ha...

OK, here the thing. I thought that Malaysia Government have banned all the advertisement on Cigarette, Beers and Liquor. But see this in a local news paper last Sunday.
The question is, are they allowed to do that or there is a loophole somewhere. Gods know.

Side Dishes...

This is a rare view. If you can see in the pictures, there is few side dishes that can be order. If i were you, i would like to order a 'Night Kiss', but only at night and from a pretty gal or gals lar... Ha ha...

And for sure not 'Strange Taste Clam' cos it would be strange to taste strange as notify in the MENU. This restaurant owner really good ah. Would tell us that the 'clam' taste strange. Well, i wonder is there anyone that would want to order that dish. Well, 'Night Kiss' would be possible. Ha ha... At least for me. ha ha.....

This picture is taken from a restaurant at Hijau Foodcourt at BDC. Go check it out.

Chairs...

Here is the point. What the use of chairs or any type of stuff that been build pruposely for PEOPLE to sit? Ha ha... This is the thing that i just notice after a while playing Badminton with the ex UNIMAS student gang at fourth mile Kuching Winners Court.

After every match, all will rush to the floor in front of the long chair provided by the management and sit on the FLOOR!!! Ha ha.....

Then the question is "What the purpose of the chair?". Well, a decent answer from all the members, "To put stuff. Stuff more important than my ass." Ha ha....

And where is the people you would ask? Of course, on the FLOOR lar.... Ha ha... I must admit, it feel better sitting on the floor than the chair. More, relaxing. Ha ha...

Madagascar - Escape 2 Afrika

Madagascar is back and now it is "Escape 2 Afrika". Went there with friend last night at eleven after dinner at 'Jalan Masjid'. It's a sudden decision actually but worth it.

This time, it bigger and funnier. The old lady that beat up 'Alex' the lion at New Jersey Train Station in first episode is back and this time, she is more even aggressive and appealling. Not forgeting 'Moth' the cute little rascal in episod 1. And the four Penguin with that two monkey that excape from NY Zoo as well. You know what i'm saying... Ha ha...

Don't miss is, catch it at your nearby cinema. I strongly don't agree that you buy pirated cd. Spend some on nice movie like this. It is really worthy though.

Jokes

Well, here some good jokes on advertisement to start up your day, and apparently, mine... Ha ha... Enjoy. http://www.funny-jokes-n-pictures.com/

Night Watchman:
Advertising sure brings quick results--last week I advertised for a night watchman--the same night my safe was robbed.

Salesperson:
How can you tell when a salesperson is lying? His lips are moving.

The Pope and KFC:
A salesman from KFC walked up to the Pope and offers him a million dollars if he would change "The Lord's Prayer" from "give us this day our daily bread" to "give us this day our daily chicken." The Pope refused his offer. Two weeks later, the man offered the pope 10 million dollars to change it from "give us this day our daily bread" to "give us this day our daily chicken" and again the Pope refused the man's generous offer. Another week later, the man offered the Pope 20 million dollars and finally the Pope accepted. The following day, the Pope said to all his officials, "I have some good news and some bad news. 'The good news is, that we have just received a check for 20 million dollars. The bad news is, we lost the Wonder Bread account!'''

Hectic LIFE is back and now WORST!!! Well, better ady...

I think some of my reader here will be wondering why i'm not around or blogging for the past days. Well, my old-self is back! Stressed and busy guy! I'm not busy with life or entertaining people or myself, i'm torturing myself. Well, not to say torture actually. It is my THESIS!!!!

Been so so headache with my data. Was trying my best to really do it and present it in my chapters. I even end up asking opinion from other Lecturers (thanks to Dr. Lo, Mr Puah, Dr. Evan) and other Msc and PhD student in my office. Seems like no one know how to.... Argh..... Or they know but want me to discover it out myself. (Thanks for the opinion, it been a great help).

Still, i can finally understand and do my chapters thanks to my dear beloved supervisor, AP Dr. Ernest Cyril de Run, for his help and patience in teaching me and guide me. He even help in some minor way so that i can understand and continue doing what i need to do actually. Was really touch actually by his effort to even willingly spend his precious time resting at home (even he is not feeling well that day) where he ask me to go to his place and he teach on spot.

Well, i think my cempedak to him cannot really repay his time and effort and patience and expertise. Ha ha... (was trying to bribe him actually, but seems to fail. Next time i'll try cake that have RM in the middle to succeed). I think the only thing that i can pay back to him is not to disappoint his belief and trust in my work and life.

P/s: Prof, i'll do my best...

License for the Man!!

Notice: Parental Discretion needed and anything, i say sorry first before anyone blame me. It's just my opinion and doesn't refer to anyone or party of any interest. Just found it funny and interesting to be share with my readers.

It's commonly known and seen that married guys go to so called 'entertainment' premises to release tension and stress after a day of hard work. Then we will hear complains from their wife and 'wives' that their 'hubby' spend too much time and money outside. Willingly or not, most of the money channel to Reflexology centre, Clubs and even some 'entertainment' outlets that serve 'Asian Cuisine'. So who's to blame? The wife or the husband. Well, no, the authorities and the pimp should have the blame on the increasing sudden grows and expansion of such premises, plus the husband and occasionally some wife for incompetency. Well it sound like everyone to be blame. Well, blame me only lah.....

Well, of course there some demand before the supply are able to come in. Right Guys? And Boys? Well, there is cases where government blame government on such matter like, GRO. See this in Malaysiakini.com, http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/92853.

Polis menggesa kerajaan Perak dan pihak berkuasa tempatan(PBT) membatal lesen pengusaha pusat hiburan yang menggunakan wanita-wanita asing sebagai pegawai perhubungan pelanggan (GRO).

Hold your laugh, this even better...

He later add on with this....

"Kita tidak boleh mengabaikan aduan yang dibuat oleh suri-suri rumah berkenaan kerana nanti dikatakan pihak polis tidak berbuat sesuatu tetapi saya berharap pihak PBT juga turut membantu menangani masalah ini," katanya selepas majlis perhimpunan bulanan ketua polis Perak hari ini.

Well it comes to me with this big question. Who to be blame? Ha ha...... A nice news to start up my day.

Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.

SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'

DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.' SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.

'The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

'The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. My heart was crush when i know thst i'm working too hard and spend less time on the person that i really care.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Cheers~~~

Surprises and Touching Moment (2)

This morning wake up pretty early at six thirty and after groom myself up, drive all the way down to Merdeka Palace and fecth my dad and another two of his friend to breakfast and to bus terminal. They leave around 10 a.m and can see that they, especially my dad, enjoy their trip here this time.

Well, at bus terminal, i manage to have a small talk with my dad and suddenly my dad just call up my 8th uncle and say that he will be leaving today. Well, my uncle was quite sad as my dad leave and they don have much time spent together. But did notice to ask on some information on the rest of my dad siblings whereabout.

I was suprised that my 8th uncle own the Japanese Restaurant at Damai Puri Resort at Santubong. My 10th uncle work in the airport. The rest we still try to get in contact but did heard that some of my uncle already passed away. I'm sad cos i never manage to meet them. Will probably visit their graves with my family one of this days.

My 8th uncle have ask for me to go visit him and the family at Damai Puri when i'm available. Well, i will make the effort before i travel by end of this month. And most probably have house visitation during Chinese New Year. After all, we are all one family and we should keep in contact.

From 17 siblings, i have already manage to track down 2 of them. Hope everything goes well and we can have a family reunion one of these days. Hope and do wish me luck on my quest.

Suprises and Touching Moment

Yesterday was my dad visit to Kuching. Actually he is on a course organized by the state government at Merdeka Palace. Was a nice place and like it. Well, next time when i got extra money and time, will have one or two night stay there with my family. Nice ya.

Then promise my dad will bring him over to some places at Kuching last night. So we went to Boulevard. He was amazed by the sheer size of that Hypermall. So we went to park our car at ground floor (usually i do that and park there though need to pay). Once we went in the entrance from parking, my dad just pause for a while and call up a guy... "ah liang" (in Hakka). That guy replied and for that instance i saw my dad almost cried in joy. That guy was my father brother, my uncle. He ask me to greet him and in Hakka but i can't do it as i'm not at all literate in Hakka.

So the story of my family goes like this. My dad came from a broken family. My grandpa have four wives and dozens of siblings. As far as i know, my grandma was the third or last one and she is a Native (Iban in precise). So i have a mix blood then. Ha ha.... (No wonder i can drink like what, ha ha...). Ok, back to the story. So my dad have 13 brothers and my dad rank number 9 (The one that we met rank number 8 in the Jee's Family Tree). But me and my siblings never met any of them. My dad move to Sarikei at a very young age at 18 i guess, and my grandpa was at Sarikei at that moment. But at that time i think the family have already separated. By the way, my dad originally from Kuching but never back for decade. So, me and my siblings never met our grandparents and uncles and aunts.

Well actually i did met my grandma once in Sarikei. I was 16 that time and basically i don't care what is what (rebellious actually that time). So can't recall her face. I regretted that so much when think back of it.

My uncle look so much like my dad. Body size, hand, foot, neck, belly, face, height. Almost identical but just that my dad is darker and my uncle is fairer. Ha ha... But they from different mother. My dad was the third or last, i can't recall, and my uncle from the second mother. Complicated family. Both of them hug and chats and can see their eye shiver in red, like their precious diamond almost drop to the earth. I just stunt there. Can't say a single word as i really don't know what to say actually.

But there is no initiative to reunited all the siblings in my dad family by anyone (i must do the other way then, reunite). They might from different mothers, but i think that we are all family and we are close family, blood related family and should reunite at least for a dinner during Chinese New Year. I hope it will happen and if it really happen, i will try the best to get my family to meet all the siblings in my dad family and as well as their childrens that will be my cousins. Well, hope my Grandpa in Heaven will bless us and my motives here. Not for money or materials, but as a family we must unite. Or else, what Chinese New Year is for then? Right? I will do my part to reunite them all. And i'm eager to meet my close relatives. All this while, years, i only know my mom family and that's is about all. Never met any of my dad's one.

Cheers~~~~

Lake Side Canteen - UNIMAS

Still the old days the best moment. I think most of the graduates from UNIMAS graduated before 2008 will likely agree on my statement. Back at those days, we only have four main college and three of it located as so called 'old campus' now. We all, from different faculty, from different years, live together under one roof, share the same facilities and play together at those time. Not like nowadays where student from same year doesn't know their own badge students from other faculty. One reasons, they are separated. Can tell you guys, i have friends from engeenering, cog science, social science, marine and many more and i'm from business.

Well, talking of all those nostalgic moment is really good though, but reality is that it never and won't exist again for the students now and the future in UNIMAS. The most memorable to us is this - lake side canteen or populary known as 'Ensurai Canteen'. It is the most popular and pack spot at the glorious UNIMAS moment. Here is where all the students and lecturers and staffs have their breakfast and tea break. We used to escape classes and come to this place for our regular smoke and tea break. In fact some lecturers also do that. It's a good place though.

Though it's small, but it serve us well.

In fact the view of this place is good and very calming. We come here at late of the day just to calm our brain down after days of hard work and hectic. We even used to 'kayak' in this lake. How nice it were.

Now, it have been closed. For two years already it doesn't bear any visitors. Just us the one that really miss the old days. Heard that it was some stupid arrogant big shot in UNIMAS that ordered this place to be closed down. Reasons - Due to too many canteen in old campus.
The fact is that we only have three canteen left in old campus where one located in campus itself where the rest at college that still used and occupied inside old campus. And too many canteen. Students were complaining no one sell food after 4.00 p.m in campus then they have to went outside or secretly cook in their colleges. So does that reasons - too many canteen - fit it.

Lucheon and Dinner

It is Sunday and basically this is the day where i will laze my day off waiting for Monday. But this two days i didn't laze off just like that. So decided to cook nice Luncheon and Dinner for myself.

Introducing, 'Jeff' special 'Deep Fried Chicken Wing'. So prepare few chicken wings. Separate the drumstick from the wing. Then put in a deep bowl, put some salt to marinate it first and then an egg and mix it la. Before that, remember to wash it first. Hygene is important here. Then put in some frying flours. Can get it in any sundry or supermarket easily. I use KFC's packet one. Nice. Mix it all and put aside for five to ten minute.

Then put some more of that flour in a flat pan. Deep the chicken in the flour again, cover it all with flour and you can fried it.

Well, before that, please do heat up the cooking oil. And when ready, put on small heat and you can start fry the chicken.
If too hot, the chicken will be burn so remember to control the fire.

Fry untill the chicken is golden in color and tada... ready to be served.

Look like bought from restaurant one right. Ha ha... Below is my lunch for today. Plus dinner la. Ha ha....

Below is yesterday lunch and dinner.

But nothing all above beats my mom cooking. Last new year, we have Hot Pot. And there sat my dad, with his huge belly.

Ha ha....

Introducing, 'SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS'. Ha ha.... By now, i think you guys will think that i am childish. I'm 24 this year coming 25 soon. Ha ha.... But, i still want to introduce the best and most stupid cartoon that i definitely like. It's not The Simpsons but it's Spongebob Squarepants.

He have a good buddy, Patrick, that always hang around everyday jelly fishing and went to some clown restaurants for candy and ais-cream.

Spongebob is timid and Patrick is basically stupid. Spongebob lived in a pineapple and Patrick live under a stone like most star fish were.

They have a very easily annoyed neighbour, Squidward, that always play his Sax and live in his own happy world. Not a nice naighbour and he live in a stone statue. Both Spongebob and Squidward work at the same place, Krusty Krab.

Well spongebob also have a very adorable pet, Gary, that was a snail but sound like a cat. Awkward.... This cat, no, snail, is pretty aggressive and lazy. But still, he is cute.

Krusty Krab owner, spongebob boss, apparently is a Crab and populary known as Mr. Krabs. He likes money, i mean LIKES...., and all this characters evolve around money and money. When he see money, his eyes will blinks and glows.

Not also forgetting Spongebob another best buddy, Sandy, that was a squirrels that live under the sea, from Texas, and breath with a big ball alike glass that seems to be never out of oxygen. Awkward... Ha ha... She is a karate master and always practice karate with spongebob and patrick at Sandy place that was a big underwater fish tank that fill with air and some grass with a tree house inside it.
Underwater???

Lastly, the one and not least, Plankton, the villian in this cartoon that own Chunk Bucket. He always try to steal Mr. Krabs Krabby Pattie secret Recipy but never succeded in his attempt. Poor plankton. "I feel you"...

Above all, i like this cartoon cos it is really really cute.......... I even have some Spongebob dolls in my car. Ha ha.... Fanatic.....

Outrages and Totally Incredible!!!

I just don know how to exactly put in words la dei. This fler really something la. I mean Niamah la dei. Accidently click on his blog link in my supervisor blog and i end up laugh like hell alone in office. WTF la dei!!! ha ha....

He was pointing at this 'you know who i mean' fler YB that make some outrageous statements and basically it is kinda of like making jokes of 'mata' in Chow Kit road and practically almost every 'mata' fler in this BolehLand. Ha ha....

Here some. "KL area 'unsafe', so police base closed".

WTF!!! Police Based close cos the area is unsafe. I think i wrongly read but no, it is true. Then when asked of the reasons 'WHY?', here some even funnier responses.

It was located in a 'dirty' area where there is a possibility of being exposed to contagious diseases.

Ok ok. like what Niamah say, hold your breath. More to come le dei.

"The presence of criminals also posed a threat to the safety of the police officers".

What la. Damn...... Ha ha ha ha ha ha......... Nice one Pet, no, i mean Niamah. Cos it is really Niamah......

And Kenny, learn from this fler la, dei..... Ha ha.... Can't stand it la. My Cheek Bone and Stomach ache like hell now. Damn. Ha ha......

Multi-Language

Did you notice anything different with this ad? Saw it in RHB Bank UNIMAS branch. Well, was working in this field with some of the authors/researchers and found it rather amusing. If you really go and study the ad (yellow), you notice that the background and personality used are rather different for Malaysian ad. Of course the language is also different.

Well, will post it here again when i found a similar ad in BM and let you guys see the differences. So please bear with me on that.

Stress and Depression

A busy week it is. Have almost all my data back and now continiously doing data feeding into SPSS and preparing for analysis. Finish the class for MR and i don think i will meet any of them in any classes. Unless they repeated and i am still around in UNIMAS (hope that time is a lecturer in UNIMAS already).

Well, just last sunday went to Spring Mall and and met this group of medical people that eventually are psychologist. Well, sat down and try on the test they conducting ---> Stress and Depression. Cant really recall depression test but stress, yes i do. The questionnaire were in chinese so basically i don know those characters (accept my name). So this wonderful lady assistant translate word by word, sentence by sentence for me.

So basically there is 16 questions all together. The test is like this, the more u score, the stresser you are and something should be done. Guess what, i score all. It gave me a shock. It is not i fooling with that lady, but i answer it sincerely. Well, the first instance is, "Shit, i'm in trouble!!!". Then i think what i should do. The easiest solution. I need more beer. Ha ha... That would really help me a lot. Ha ha...

P/s: Thanks Will.

Lucky and Relieve

Wow..... I'm considered lucky already this time. Last few day was over at my friend house. So did come back home for a while, bath and stuff. Last night were there and came back this morning after have breakfast with them.

The moment i reach home, i notice my bike was gone (i stay at flat). Nervous and call my dad to tell him that. Then went down to the security house to ask whether they saw it or not. They say no and suddenly in my mind, thought of looking around the flat area first.

Wow, found it. Apparently my bike can't start and i have not repair it. Well, this stupid (actually they are clever, but just use wrongly their talents) thieves broke my bike lock and try to start my bike. I think that they can't start it so they try to push out from my place. By seems that there is security guard around and a security post with only one in out entrance, they decided to leave my bike and go back empty handed. They (i think more than one person) just leave it at one block behind the block i stay.

I almost got heart attack from that. Gosh. But luckily that it is not gone. So call my dad again to tell him what happen and that i have found it back. He told me no need to report to police already as the police can't do much, most probably nothing. As i guess and doubt their abilities.

Today, Lucky~~~ What a relieve.

View

A nice view during MSC Conference at Kuching at Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Your Cool~~~

Merdeka Palace

I don't know this. But really notice that some people are really excited when they went to a five start hotel. Well, there is nothing special actually. Just that it is a hotel and it's five star only. Come on, i know some hotels that are better and the price is not as crazy as these five star one.

Last Sunday, under pressure, for some sort of seminar, i went to Merdeka Palace and guess what, it is just like that. Normal and nothing in particular. Nothing great actually.

It is just that normal.
Yeah... So for some, is it that interesting that you are able to stay or even went there? Well for me, there is no such anxiety for it. And the parking cost like hell where there is no parking outside. Even if there is, you need to walk so damn far. I have tried few time Merdeka Palace Hotel food. Nothing special. It is just expensive. Road side food taste better though. Not only agreed by me but most of the "Ang Mo" that i knew that came to Kuching.
Ya, I'm Cool~~~

Dragon Fruit

This is the dragon fruit planted by my dad. We have around six of it. Each cactus can bear around 10 to 12 dragon fruits each time. And the good part is it produce fruits whole year round and it is really SWEET..... Can find this sweet one in the market. Serious.....

Nice one...

Sport. Ya, i'm exercising. Great.

Ya. I'm really exercising this time. I recall back the last time i really exercise is a year ago, everyday play basketball with dudes from my badge and some seniors in UNIMAS old campus court. Then everyone left so no more mates to play with, so end up fat and big belly (part of it is beer actually).

Decided to start back exercise so bought a racket. Just a normal one for a start. When more pro, would like to get a lighter one with big bag. Yeah, right....

And it is really good. Every Monday and Wednesday from 7.00 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. or 10.00 p.m. It help me to sweat like this. See my face below. Now this is exercise. Good...

Yeah... Cool....
